All By Myself was actually recorded not in the studio but at a party.
Billie Joe was refused entry to an operation ivy gig at the age of 15 but one of the band members (maybe Joey or Tim, not sure) personally escorted him into the gig. Thats why on behalf green day play knowledge to say thanx man u rock so we will dedicate part of our gigs to u!!
Billie Joe was also responsible for one of the best Rancid songs to be written, he co-wrote "Radio" with Tim Armstrong. <------ THIS GUY ROCKS IF U DONT LIKE HIM THEN U CAN FUCK OFF!!
